The following visualization is a d3-based interactive bar chart that explores how different demographics perceive the threat of automation in their workplace and in general. This was one component of a multi-part class project that focuses on communicating with general audiences. The input data for the visualization comes from a Pew Research Study and was wrangled in the javascript (maybe not the best decision). The website with the full class project gives more context on how this visualization fits into a larger communication strategy that explores automation and how it should be explained to the general public.
